So working on an exercise that was in my handy little book. Had to design a magazine based on the theme of "blue" somehow. A little more after the bump.



So it didn't have to be real literal or anything, but this is what I wanted to do. I wanted a magazine that I would read. It would showcase various illustrators of all media, have interviews, tips, maybe include discs like other similar magazines (can we talk about how crazy expensive imagineFX is?!), but would really focus on the art. Illustration too often gets a bum rap and just isn't seen as "refined" an art style as say painting or drawing (even though that is exactly what illustration is, whether it be digital or traditional). So I picked some of my fave illustrators, found some blue-centric images, and done em up. Ill probs do at least one more focused on a piece of mine to use for my port. Supposed to be a quick exercise, so I tried to do it fast. Has some mistakes, I know. Don't judge.
